Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website and services operated by Vettd Pros LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("Vettd Pros"), including the Vettd Pros website, applications, services, integrations, and private professional network (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing the Services, or otherwise agreeing to these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the incorporated Governance Standards.
If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. In these Terms, "Service Professional" means the verified service-based business and its owner(s) or authorized users acting within their authority.
1. The Vettd Pros Service
Vettd Pros provides a private operational intelligence network intended to help Service Professionals evaluate legitimate business interactions using historical service information, standardized Reports, identity-matching tools, scores, automatic alerts, and related features.
Vettd Pros does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or future predictive value of information submitted by Service Professionals or otherwise available through the Network. Vettd Pros does not decide whether a Service Recipient is a good or bad person and does not direct a Service Professional to accept, decline, price, condition, or modify services.
Each Service Professional remains solely responsible for its own business decisions and for complying with laws applicable to those decisions.
2. Eligibility, Accounts, and Verification
2.1 Business Eligibility
The Services are intended for legitimate service-based businesses. Vettd Pros may require business, owner, authorized-user, contact, identity, or other verification before or during access to the Services. During early access, accounts are available only to businesses invited from the Vettd Pros waitlist, and early-access features may change or be withdrawn.
2.2 Authorized Users
A Service Professional is responsible for all activity conducted through its account and for ensuring that authorized users act within their authority and comply with these Terms and the Governance Standards. The account owner controls which team members are invited and what each may do. Reports submitted by any user are attributed to the Service Professional's business.
2.3 Account Security
You must provide accurate account information, maintain the confidentiality of credentials, promptly update material account information, and notify Vettd Pros of suspected unauthorized access. Account sharing with unauthorized persons, impersonation, and circumvention of access controls are prohibited.
2.4 Business Validity
Vettd Pros may calculate or maintain a Business Validity Score (BVS) and use business-verification information to protect Network integrity and determine eligibility for certain features. Changes in BVS may affect current privileges but do not automatically invalidate previously compliant Reports.
3. Connected Systems and Service Records
Service Recipient records are intended to enter Vettd Pros through approved CRM or other connected business-system integrations. Service Professionals may not manually create Service Recipients where the Services prohibit manual creation.
A synchronized record may establish that a legitimate business interaction existed, but synchronization does not independently verify the truth of any later Report.
A Service Professional may also connect a business phone system. Vettd Pros then collects call and text details (numbers, lines, and times, but never message content or recordings) from the lines the Service Professional selects, as described in the Privacy Policy. A Service Professional may remove any connection at any time.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases reasonably required to connect systems and provide information to Vettd Pros, including information about your customers and callers, and you will use integrations in accordance with applicable law and third-party terms.
4. Reports
4.1 Firsthand Legitimate Business Interaction
A Report must arise from a legitimate business interaction and must comply with the Reporting Standards. Legitimate business interactions may include estimates, consultations, requests for service, canceled appointments, declined proposals, completed services, and other legitimate interactions even when no job was completed.
4.2 Good Faith and Accuracy
Reports must be submitted honestly and in good faith. Knowingly false, fabricated, intentionally misleading, malicious, retaliatory, discriminatory, or harassing Reports are prohibited.
4.3 Structured Information
Reports may include standardized classifications, ratings, categories, and other structured information designed to promote consistency and meaningful interpretation. Vettd Pros may modify classification, rating, organization, or display methods so long as they remain consistent with applicable Governance Standards.
4.4 Supporting Documentation
Supporting Documentation is encouraged where appropriate but is not required for every ordinary Report unless the applicable Governance Standards require it. Certain features, including BOLOs, may require Supporting Documentation.
4.5 No Routine Pre-Approval
Reports are not routinely subject to manual review or approval before becoming part of the applicable Service Record. Vettd Pros relies on verified participation, standardized reporting requirements, platform safeguards, Governance Standards, and dispute procedures. Vettd Pros may review content or accounts when appropriate to investigate potential violations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, or protect Network integrity.
5. BOLO Alerts
BOLO functionality is a heightened, proactive, time-limited alert feature subject to the BOLO Standards and eligibility requirements established by Vettd Pros.
BOLOs may be limited by subscription tier, BVS, documentation requirements, geographic relevance, industry relevance, or other eligibility safeguards. Active BOLO distribution may not exceed ten (10) days under the current Governance Standards.
A BOLO is operational information, not a legal finding, and receiving Service Professionals remain solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act upon it.
6. Automatic Alerts
Vettd Pros may automatically alert a Service Professional when something happens in its connected systems, for example when a customer who has been served before or who has been flagged books a job, is added to the CRM, calls a connected line, or first texts a connected line, or when a job is marked completed. Service Professionals choose which alerts they receive in their settings. Some alerts, including "Served before" alerts, are on by default and can be turned off.
"Served before" alerts report totals only, such as the number of completed jobs recorded across Vettd Pros and the number of businesses that recorded them, and never identify the other businesses. Alerts depend on connected systems and third-party delivery and may be delayed, incomplete, or not delivered. An alert is operational information, not a recommendation or guarantee, and the confidentiality rules in Section 12 apply to it.
7. Trust Score, AID, and Other Indicators
7.1 Trust Score
The Trust Score summarizes relevant legitimate service-interaction history and operational information. It is not intended as a determination of character, creditworthiness, legal responsibility, or general suitability.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, an eligible Report may influence applicable Trust Score calculations for up to seven (7) years from the date the Report is submitted to Vettd Pros. Older information may receive different treatment under proprietary scoring methods.
7.2 Accuracy ID Score (AID)
AID reflects confidence in the accuracy and consistency of identifying information associated with a Service Recipient or Service Record. AID is an identity-accuracy measure and is not intended to measure behavior, character, payment history, or reliability.
7.3 Proprietary Methodologies
Vettd Pros may modify its proprietary formulas, weights, thresholds, matching methods, fraud-prevention techniques, and related methodologies to improve accuracy, fairness, reliability, security, scalability, or Network integrity. Vettd Pros is not required to disclose proprietary methods except as required by law.
8. Disputes and Appeals
Service Recipients may challenge Report information under the Disputes & Appeals Standards, by emailing hello@vettdpros.com during early access or through Access My Record once it is available.
Vettd Pros does not undertake to determine historical truth as a court or arbitrator. Its review is directed principally to whether information complies with the Vettd Standard™, Reporting Standards, and other applicable Governance Standards and whether there is sufficient basis to retain, modify, supplement, restrict, or remove information.
Filing a dispute does not automatically remove or invalidate a Report. An active disputed Report may remain visible as disputed but may cease affecting applicable scoring while unresolved. The reporting Service Professional may be given an opportunity to respond, including a current response period of ten (10) business days under the Governance Standards. Failure to respond does not automatically establish that the Report is inaccurate.
Vettd Pros may permit one appeal and may make a final internal determination after the appeal, subject to applicable law.
9. Historical Information and Retention
The period during which information influences a score is separate from the period during which Vettd Pros may retain the information.
Subject to applicable law, Vettd Pros may retain Reports, Service Records, identity associations, dispute history, Supporting Documentation, security information, and other information for extended periods, including indefinitely, when reasonably necessary to preserve legitimate historical information, maintain identity accuracy, improve AID and Record matching, prevent fraud or mistaken identity, preserve audit history, protect Network integrity, or satisfy legal obligations.
A Report that no longer influences the Trust Score may remain accessible as historical information and may continue to provide identity and Record-matching value. Behavioral information that has aged out of Trust Score eligibility should not be treated as an indirect behavioral input to AID merely because identity information associated with the historical Report remains useful for matching.
10. Access My Record
During early access, Access My Record is not yet available online, and Service Recipients may make record, correction, and dispute requests by emailing hello@vettdpros.com as described in the Privacy Policy. Service Recipients do not receive full Service Professional Network accounts merely by accessing their own Record. When available, Access My Record may permit a Service Recipient to verify identity, locate and view their own Record as permitted, submit disputes and documentation, respond to information, and track disputes.
By submitting identifying information for a record request, whether by email or through Access My Record, the Service Recipient authorizes Vettd Pros to use, compare, validate, cross-reference, and update that information for identity verification, Record matching, duplicate prevention, fraud prevention, dispute administration, AID maintenance, and Network accuracy, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Identity verification does not constitute acknowledgment that any Report, rating, allegation, or other information in the Service Record is accurate.
11. Acceptable Use and Community Conduct
You must comply with the Community Guidelines and may use the Network only for legitimate business purposes. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Accessing Records for personal curiosity, harassment, surveillance, retaliation, or other unauthorized purposes.
- Submitting knowingly false, fabricated, malicious, retaliatory, discriminatory, or intentionally misleading information.
- Using protected characteristics as a basis for unlawful discrimination.
- Manipulating Reports, ratings, Trust Scores, AID, BVS, or other Network indicators.
- Impersonating another person or business or sharing credentials with unauthorized persons.
- Circumventing technical, account, eligibility, subscription, geographic, or access restrictions.
- Scraping, harvesting, bulk extracting, reverse engineering, or using automated means to obtain nonpublic Network information except as expressly authorized by Vettd Pros.
- Using Vettd Pros to threaten, stalk, intimidate, embarrass, harass, or facilitate unlawful conduct.
- Misusing BOLO, alert, dispute, appeal, notification, or other platform functionality.
12. Confidentiality and Use of Network Information
Nonpublic Vettd Pros Service Records, Reports, scores, BOLOs, alerts, and related Network information are intended for authorized business use and may not be publicly posted, published, broadcast, sold, commercially redistributed, or otherwise made generally available to the public.
Information may be shared where reasonably necessary for legitimate business, legal, safety, or law-enforcement purposes with authorized members of the Service Professional's organization, professional advisors, authorities, or other recipients where permitted by Vettd Pros and applicable law.
Capturing a screenshot, export, or reproduction does not remove the confidentiality or permitted-use restrictions that apply to the underlying information.
13. Notifications and Communications
Vettd Pros may provide notifications through in-app messaging, email, and SMS/text. Optional Network-alert preferences may be configurable by users. Administrative, transactional, dispute, security, legal, or account-related communications may be necessary to operate or protect an account and may not be treated as optional marketing.
By entering and confirming a mobile number in their account settings and agreeing to the consent statement shown there, a user agrees to receive text messages from Vettd Pros LLC (VettdPros) at that number, sent using an automated system. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Where consent is required for SMS/text or other communications, you agree that Vettd Pros may maintain records of consent and opt-out status and may use third-party communications providers to deliver messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Available opt-out methods must be honored in accordance with applicable law.
SMS notifications are sent only to a mobile number that an authorized user has entered into their own Vettd Pros account settings and verified through the verification process provided by Vettd Pros. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS notifications. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact hello@vettdpros.com.
Vettd Pros does not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers may be provided to communications service providers acting on Vettd Pros' behalf solely as necessary to deliver and administer messaging services, subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.
14. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payment
Certain Services require a paid subscription. Prices, plan features, billing intervals, trial terms, renewal terms, taxes, and other purchase details will be presented at or before purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, subscriptions may renew automatically for the applicable billing period until canceled. You authorize Vettd Pros and its payment providers to charge applicable fees and taxes using the payment method on file.
Cancellation stops future renewal but does not necessarily entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid, except as required by law or expressly stated by Vettd Pros. Vettd Pros may change pricing or plan features prospectively with notice as required by applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
The Services, software, designs, databases, scoring and matching methodologies, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, workflows, and other Vettd Pros materials are owned by Vettd Pros or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Vettd Pros grants the Service Professional a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for authorized internal business purposes during the applicable subscription or account term.
No right is granted to copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the Services or proprietary methodologies except as expressly authorized in writing or permitted by law.
16. Content License and Responsibility
As between you and Vettd Pros, you retain whatever rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You grant Vettd Pros a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, adapt for formatting, display within authorized portions of the Services, distribute as permitted by the Services, and otherwise use submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, administer, and enforce the Services and Governance Standards.
You represent that you have the rights and lawful authority necessary to submit content and grant this license. You remain responsible for the content submitted through your account.
17. Third-Party Services, Integrations, and Vera
The Services may depend on or interoperate with third-party CRMs, phone systems, communications providers, payment processors, identity or data providers, hosting providers, and other services. Vettd Pros does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, availability, security, or terms.
Vettd Pros may modify, suspend, or discontinue an integration if the third-party service changes, becomes unavailable, presents security or compliance concerns, or no longer supports the integration.
Vera, the Vettd Pros assistant, uses artificial intelligence to answer questions. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong, are not legal or professional advice, and should be checked before you rely on them.
18. Suspension and Termination
Vettd Pros may warn, restrict features, require additional verification, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably appropriate because of suspected or actual violations, fraud, security risks, nonpayment, misuse, legal requirements, or threats to Network integrity.
Account closure or termination does not automatically remove Reports or historical information properly submitted under the Governance Standards. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including confidentiality, intellectual property, content licenses, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute provisions, and retention rights, will survive as applicable.
19. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." VETTD PROS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
VETTD PROS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT ANY REPORT, SCORE, IDENTITY MATCH, BOLO, ALERT, SERVICE RECORD, OR OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, TIMELY, OR PREDICTIVE OF FUTURE CONDUCT.
VETTD PROS DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, CREDIT, EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, INSURANCE, OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL ADVICE THROUGH THE SERVICES.
20. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VETTD PROS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF VETTD PROS FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY THE APPLICABLE SERVICE PROFESSIONAL TO VETTD PROS DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the foregoing may not apply.
21. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vettd Pros and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from or relating to your content, Reports, BOLOs, use or misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms or Governance Standards, violation of law, or infringement or violation of another person's rights.
22. Changes to the Services and Terms
Vettd Pros may modify the Services, features, scoring or matching methods, subscription offerings, Governance Standards, or these Terms from time to time. When required by law, Vettd Pros will provide notice of material changes. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
23. Governing Law and Venue
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and disputes arising from them will be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any action arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
24. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Vettd Pros' prior written consent; Vettd Pros may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, or other corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable purchase terms, and incorporated Governance Standards constitute the agreement governing use of the Services to the extent applicable and supersede prior agreements or understandings concerning the same subject matter.
25. Incorporated Governance Standards
The following Vettd Pros Governance Standards, as made available through the Services and updated from time to time, are incorporated into these Terms by reference:
- The Vettd Standard™ / Trust & Integrity Standards
- Reporting Standards
- Disputes & Appeals Standards
- BOLO Standards
- Trust Score & Accuracy Standards

- Community Guidelines
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a Governance Standard, these Terms control unless expressly stated otherwise.
